“FILLING THE TRUCK WITH TOYS”: SEMINOLE COUNTY FIREFIGHTERS WORK TO DONATE & COLLECT NEARLY 1,000 TOYS FOR CHILDREN THIS HOLIDAY
WHAT:
As part of the Seminole County Firefighters Benevolent Association in partnership with the Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD), firefighters and SCFD personnel worked to collect nearly 1,000 toys for its 7th annual toy drive to benefit local children for Christmas to provide them gifts on their wish lists. This was a partnership with the Sharing Center in Longwood and XL 106.7’s Baby DJ.
Many of the toys will dropped off at the Seminole County Fire Department’s Training Center on Wednesday, November 29. Seminole Counties brand new high-water Acela Truck is going to be filled with toys and from there it will be driven to the Sharing Center in Longwood around 1 p.m.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 29, 2023; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
1 p.m. – Acela high-water vehicle bringing toys to the Sharing Center
Note: Dec. 1, SCFD firefighters will be gathering toys for Baby DJ.
