Seminole County Fire Department to Host Opening of New Station 11 Facility

After more than four decades in its original location at the City of Altamonte Springs municipal complex, Seminole County Fire Department Fire Station 11 is moving into its very own home. The new station’s official opening ceremony is Friday, January 19 at 10 a.m. at 2721 S. Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Altamonte Springs.

Fire Station 11’s new 10,300-square-feet facility allows crews to continue serving their existing first-due area while providing modern safety features, improved amenities, and ample space that allows them to meet the demands of a growing community.

The $5.78 million station is based on the same design as Fire Station 29 on Aloma Avenue, with additional updates based on firefighters’ feedback. The City of Altamonte Springs donated the land for the station, as well as $2 million toward the construction costs.
